For today’s buy in we are going to work on the snatch. The snatch is considered one of the the fastest lifts to take a heavy load from the ground to an overhead position. If you are familiar with the snatch, we will work on a 1RM. If you are unfamiliar, then we will focus on drills to get you in the proper movement patterns.
Our workout today looks familiar to those who are familiar with a Benchmark workout named “Helen”. This is a “quicker” version. Our goal is to cycle through the triplet of a run, KB swings, and pull ups and hopefully amass a total volume greater than a regular “Helen” total.
For the cashout we are going to play with L-Sits. Try it on the rings for a slight challenge!
