Buy In:

Overhead Squats

3, 5,  or 7

WOD:

AMRAP 4 Minutes

2 Power Cleans 135/95

3 Front Squats

4 Bar-facing Burpees

Rest 1 Minute

Repeat for a total of 3 rounds.

For today’s buy in we are going to perform the overhead squat.  We have performed this movement last week, so try to increase the load for a 3, 5 or 7 rep max.

For the workout we are going for a triplet of power cleans, front squats and bar facing burpees.  Complete as many rounds as possible in 4 minutes of 2 power cleans, 3 front squats and 4 bar facing burpees.  You will perform this triplet 3 times.  You will stand  up completely in the power clean before performing front squats.  A bar-facing burpee is performed by dropping into a burpee facing the barbell and jumping over the barbell to the other side for each rep.

    Well, was going to totally kill this WOD (right!) but my train hit a car on the way home :( Chris & the am crew… See you tomorrow. Any news about the competition next week?

    I want it noted that I beat Ted in a workout finally! ;)
    The competition is off except for Andy and Vicki. We procrastinated and all the spots were taken. Chris and I want to try and do it at our box on Sunday the following weekend. If everyone is up for that, let us know and we will start making arrangements.
