Power Clean Practice
10 Power Clean (Choose your own and post load to board)
15 Push-Up (Rings/Parallettes or Floor)
2 Minutes Plank on Rings, Parallette or Floor.
For the buy in we are going to work on Power Clean technique. We will spend some quality time warming up, working up to our desired weight for the workout.
Today’s workout resembles a workout we performed on 1/30/13. This workout should be a faster variation with power cleans instead of squat cleans, and less push-ups per round. I want this workout to feel like a sprint. This workout will be completed by performing 3 rounds of the triplet of 400m run, 10 power cleans, and 15 push-ups. For this workout, I intentionally left the power cleans open. If you feel comfortable with your clean technique, try a heavier load than normal. Or, try a lighter load and move as fast as possible. Either way is fine, as long as you push yourself past your comfort zone. Any push-up variation will be RX’d whether they are completed on rings, the floor, or parallettes. Just be sure to mark on the board which variation you complete.
Immediately following the workout, hold a plank on the the rings or parallettes for two minutes total (not accumulated)
